Shri M. Rajkumar, hereinafter called the appellant, has filed the present appeal dated 18.3.2013 before the Commission against the respondent Office of the Registrar of Companies, Chennai for not providing information in response to his RTI application dated 22.10.2012. The appellant was absent whereas the respondent were represented by Ms. K. Latha Parimala Vadana, Dy. ROC/CPIO.
2. The appellant through his RTI application dated 22.10.2012 sought report sent to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs by the O/O ROC, Chennai in respect of M/s. Madras Madurai Properties Pvt. Ltd. and M/s. Millennium Software Productions (I) Pvt. Ltd. The CPIO vide letter No. RTI/ROC/Sh. M. Rajkumar/1118 & 1132/2012 dated 20.11.2012 informed the appellant that no instructions had been received from the Ministry till date. On receipt of the same, further course of action would be taken with regard to his complaint letter dated 15.2.2012.
