Shri Rohit Tyagi, the appellant, has filed the present appeal dated 4.5.2012 before the Commission against the respondent Delhi Police, North District for providing incomplete information in response to his RTI-application dated 24.2.2012. The appellant was present, whereas the respondent were represented by Shri Anil Kumar, ACP/Civil Lines and Shri Man Mohan, ASI.
2. The appellant, through his RTI application dated 24.2.2012 sought copies of DD entries of P.S. Timarpur during 8.00 am and 8.00 p.m. for 18.10.2011 and also specifically in respect of ASI Narender Singh and SHO of PS Timarpur. Through letter No. 3478/ID-512/2012/RTI Cell/North District dated 19.3.2012 the CPIO replied to the appellant on Point No. 2 and 3 of the RTI application that the arrival/departure information in respect of the two officers is contained in10 pages and he was requested to deposit Rs. 20/- for the copies of information of entire DD entries for 18.10.2011; and on Point No. 1 information was denied on the grounds that information sought was not specific. 2 Case No. CIC/SS/A/2012/002
