The appellant is not present. The appellant filed an RTI application on 16.12.2013, seeking the above information. CAPIO/AGM (RTI) informed the appellant that information sought consists of 1198 pages and requested him to deposit Rs. 2396/- for getting the desired information. The said amount was deposited by one P.V. R. Nair vide letter on 18.02.2014 stating that the information be provided to the appellant directly. CPIO vide letter dt. 03.03.2014 rejected the same and stated that the appellant should deposit the money. The FAA/GM in his order upheld the CPIO's decision and advised the appellant to submit the requisite fee for obtaining information.
